Stolen Items

SCARS member Chris Probett experienced a home break-in involving the loss of valuable property that included items of sentimental and personal value to his entire family. Here are images (in a pop-up window) of some Abbotwares radios taken from his home. It is hoped that someone will recognize one or more of them, and that it will result in the location of the person(s) responsible, and the possible return of what was taken.

Thanks,
Jim Ryan
SCARS President

The SCARS Gazette Editor Needs Your Help!

Most of our members know that our industrious Gazette Editor, Henry "Hank" Tarfman, faithfully produces our club's publication every quarter. But what many don’t realize is that mailing preparation for the Gazette (envelope stuffing, etc.) is rather overwhelming for just one person, and help is urgently needed. If you reside in or near the Torrance, Ca. area and can provide assistance, please contact Henry Tarfman to volunteer.
